We’re fully virtual for now and see patients online across California.

We are an out-of-network provider and do not bill insurance directly. However, we can provide a superbill—a detailed receipt—that you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement, depending on your out-of-network benefits.
-
We choose not to work with insurance so we can focus fully on what matters most: your care, your time, and your privacy.
Dealing with insurance often means piles of paperwork, treatment restrictions, and long delays, all of which take time away from you. By staying independent, we’re able to offer more flexible, personalized care without jumping through hoops.
We also deeply value your confidentiality. In a cash-pay model, your records stay between you and your provider, no third-party approvals or diagnoses required.

Your first appointment is a 60-minute session focused on getting a full picture of your mental health and life context. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you in, your current symptoms, past experiences, medical history, and any treatments you’ve tried before. The goal is to understand your needs—not just from a diagnostic perspective, but as a whole person.
By the end of the session, we may begin discussing treatment options, which could include medication, therapy, or a combination. In some cases, we might need more time or information before making a recommendation. You’ll have space to ask questions and share anything that feels important.
-
That’s a very common and often effective approach. Many people find that combining therapy with medication leads to deeper and more lasting progress. If you’re not already working with a therapist, we can talk about whether adding therapy would be helpful for you and explore options that align with your needs. In some cases, we may be able to offer both services here, or we can coordinate with an outside therapist to ensure your care is connected and supportive.
-
